Welcome to the
City of Concord Rent Registry
Pursuant to the City’s Residential Tenant Protection Program Chapter 19.40 (“Ordinance”), the City’s Rent Registry Portal is available to property owners for the annual registration of their Concord rental units. The Rental Registry Portal is a secure database where property owners of residential rental units, including rented single-family homes, provide information on tenancy and rents, submit termination notices, and pay the annual rental registry fee. All property owners with rental units in the City of Concord must complete and submit registration forms for each rental unit through the City’s Rental Registry.
Any property owner that is claiming an exemption from the City’s Ordinance must apply for an exemption through the City’s Rental Registry. The property owner must provide the City a written declaration stating the facts which support the claim of exemption from the provisions of the Ordinance, accompanied by supporting documentation.
After registration, any notices or documents required to be provided from a property owner to a tenant under the Ordinance, including notices of termination, must be provided to the City through the City’s Rental Registry.
Property owners and tenants are also required to utilize the Rent Registry Portal to submit petitions for rent adjustments that will be heard before a City-appointed hearing officer.
